Facility Info & Accessability

The Cambridge Sports Park is constantly striving to improve our facility and the experience that you all have while playing and visiting us.  With that comes a responsibility to your health and safety as well as maintaining the financial responsibilities any business must be aware of.

  1. FACILITY ACCESS - All players and visitors to the facility at ay time of the day MUST enter the facility and its sports fields, courts, rinks through the front doors of the building.  This is enforced by the Ontario Trespass to Property Act and violators may be asked to leave the facility without refund/compensation or permitted re-enter for futre league/tournament or rental play.
  2. PARKING - All vehicles must be parked in a designated parking stall on the Cambridge Sports Park.  The Cambridge Sports Park will not be responsbile for violators being ticketed by the City By-law for parking along city streets or in neighbouring parking lots.  Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. The facility assumes no responsibility for damage to vehicles or lost/stolen items while parked on our property.
  3. OUTSIDE FOOD or BEVERAGES - Only beverages and food purchased from the facility vending or Penalty Box Pub are permitted.  Athletes participating in sports are permitted to bring water in personal size coolers for personal consumption. Large coolers are not permitted unless otherwise approved by Management.  
  4. ALCOHOL - Alcohol not purchased at the Penalty box Pub is strictly prohibited on the property or in the facility.  Anyone suspected or found to have brought acohol or participated in the consumption of unlicensed alcohol will be asked to leave immediately and may be subject to law enforcement.  Any alcoholic beverages purchased at the Penalty Box Pub may not be consumed in the following areas but is not limited to:
    • Parking Lot
    • Hockey Dressing Rooms
    • Slo Pitch Diamonds
    • Washrooms
    • Main Lobby or Hallways
    • Any area outside the parameters of the LCBO approved areas for the facility. 
  5. PETS ACCESS (excluding SERVICE ANIMALS) - are NOT permitted on the premises.  Under the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 animals working as fulltime assistance ARE permitted.  Animals that are being trained under the Act of Ontario are not permitted without written permission of Cambridge Sports Park Management.
  6. SMOKING -  is NOT permitted at any time in the building or on the property as defined by the Smoke Free Ontario Act.  For more details please visit this link Smoke Free Ontario Act.
  7. CHILD SUPERVISION - All persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult, guardian or coach and at all times while visiting the facility.  Horseplay or unsupervised behaviour of any kind is strictly prohibited. 
  8. PROPER ATTIRE - Shoes, Shirts, Pants or shorts must be worn at all times in areas accessible to the general public.
  9. DRESSING ROOMS - Are available for permitted use 30 minutes prior too and after your rental/game contracted time.  
  10. DAMAGE/VANDALISM - Teams and/or representative will be held responsible for the destruction or vandalism of any property.  The minimum fine for any damage is $250.00.

    Failure to comply with these guidelines, maintain behaviour conducive to the intended atmosphere of the facility is subject to immediate explusion from the facility without refund or re-admittance.
